Saint James' Anglican Church
St James’ Anglican Church is located at 303 East Cordova Street, at the corner of Gore and Cordova Streets in Vancouver, BC. We're located at the heart of the oldest part of Vancouver.
Don't be afraid to visit either alone or with friends. You will receive a friendly (not pushy) welcome, with friendly greeters and parishioners happy to help you with any questions.
Visitors can expect inspired music and an accomplished choir singing the great sacred music of the western church, from Gregorian Chant through to the great composers, classical and modern. Processions, incense, and colourful vestments are employed to glorify the Blessed Trinity and to draw together our senses in a unified expression of worship. Although this liturgy is formal, visitors soon find themselves at home. Visitors often comment on the friendly and welcoming atmosphere in the midst of what is a solemn and beautiful Mass.
