Jam-packed with music, theatre, dance, storytelling, puppetry, circus arts and much more, the Vancouver International Children's Festival embodies the buoyant spirit and endless curiosity of children all over the world.

Purchase a gate pass for $8.00 and treat your family to over 20 activities and free entertainment all over the Festival site and on the Festival Bandshell. There is no charge for grounds admission when you buy a show ticket in advance or at the gate.

 

Site Admission without show ticket purchase is $8.00. There is no charge for grounds admission when you buy a show ticket in advance or at the gate.

There is no charge for admission or performances for children under the age of 18 months.

 

Getting There

Vanier Park, 1100 Chestnut Street

BY BICYCLE
Bike racks are available at East Gate and West Gate.

 

BY CAR
Vanier Park is located past the south end the Burrard Bridge at the foot of Whyte Avenue off Chestnut Street in Kits Point, directly behind the Vancouver Museum and H.R. MacMillan Space Centre. Please follow Festival signs and our traffic attendants will direct you to our free parking area. Please respect "Residents Only" parking signs; park in designated areas only. Please allow one hour to park your vehicle and make your way to the performance tent.

 

BY FERRY
Regular departures to Vanier Park (Maritime Museum) from Science World, Stamps Landing, Granville Island, Yaletown and the Aquatic Centre. Check out www.granvilleislandferries.bc.ca or call 604.684.7781 for route and schedule information.

 

BY PUBLIC TRANSIT
From Burrard Street Skytrain Station transfer to #2 or #22 bus southbound to Cornwall at Cypress. Translink information: 604.953.3333 or www.translink.bc.ca.
